When compared to most other West Indian restuarants in London, this one is a very much a neighbourhood restaurant. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. My favourite dish here is the Jollof Rice a West African side served with plantain and goat curry, washed down with the House Rum Punch.

I like my West Indian food and I always head to Bambula when I get caught south of the river and hunger bites.

My Favourite dish here is jerk chicken, it’s always perfectly prepared and tender with just enough seasoning. Roti’s are near second as they come stuffed full of curried goat or beef. When I can’t stop to eat, the takeaway option is reasonably priced and good value.

A little more upmarket then the Camden branch, Cottons in Islington is where I take my Mum when she comes to visit. Ian Wright wright wright, came in once when my Mum and I were eating, the place "took off". My old Mum had the time of her life and a meal to remember.
